BeachWaves1editOver the past years as I have been on my autoimmune journey, I have been slowly switching out every product in my home to make sure that 1. it is gluten free, and 2. that it is more natural and doesn’t contain any toxins. And in that process, I have started to homemake everything that I can–from facial cleanser and toner and moisturizer, to body wash. And now I present one of my favorite recipes for homemade salt spray for those perfect beachy waves!

I love spritzing this on my hair when it is drying and kind of scrunching my hair a bit so that it embraces its natural wave. I also use it on my hair as a base before curling it. It gives it that added texture, or that second-day hair kind of feel. You know how curling your hair is so much easier on second-day hair?! This is the answer to that problem! So, so easy to make, and also a great way to incorporate even more essential oils into my life.

Side note–because I live super close to the ocean, I always love how my hair looks after days at the beach. I’ve often thought about just bottling some of that Pacific blue. Trust me, this is better! And better for you!
